Silver Dollars main form of motorsports has always been Drag Racing. Completed in 1994 SDMP's Drag Strip became the permire NHRA sanctioned 1/4 mile Drag Racing facility in Middle Georgia. Our regular season runs from March through November and is jammed packed with all forms of Drag Racing from our Summit Series Bracket Program, Weekly Friday Night Test and Tune, Small Tire Grudge Racing to Street Style No-Prep on the Top End, Pro Mods to Street Cars. There is something for everyone at our facility.
ANYONE!!! There is no special license needed to start learning how to race. Anyone 18 and older or 16 years of age or older with a state issued drivers license can drive a car down the track. Children as young as 5 years old can start learning how to drive a Jr dragster and Teenagers 13 to 16 can learn to drive a full sized street car with an adult in the passenger seat under our Jr Street Program.
Come on out to any event with Test and Tune buy a tech card and come up to the staging lanes. Our Staff is always more the welcome to give you a run down on what to do and help you out any way they can. You can also keep an eye out for beginner days which is a training day we will be instatuting reguarly to help newcmers and veterans alike learn about drag raceing and get tips and pointers on how to do what we do correctly and safely.
