Built in 1994 by Ed Swarengin Silver Dollar Raceway became the premier motorsports destination in the Middle Ga Area. Fast forward 31 years and Silver Dollar is one of only two 1/4 mile tracks left in the state.
In 2017 Silver Dollar was purchased by Anthony and Laura Persico and rebranded as Silver Dollar Motorsports Park. Since that time it has been ran by their son and daughter in law Anthony and Cat. SDMP has been Sanctioned by NHRA since its inception. Centrally Located in NHRA Div 2 it has been part of the Divisional series and the location of the Div 2 bracket finals many times over the years.
